Sponsored by FIGHT, Parisol // Pacific Rim Solidarity Network, and the Seattle Public Library

Join us for an open forum exploring the impacts of youth incarceration on the marginalized Asian and Pacific Islander (API) community, centering API youth voices.

A facilitated panel with API youth and formerly incarcerated will highlight the experiences of members of Asian and Pacific Islander communities with the criminal justice system. Letters from incarcerated members of the API Cultural Awareness Group will be shared alongside the panelists’ dialogue. The harmful effect of incarceration on this population will be revealed through these combined voices.

This event is co-presented by APICAG (API Cultural Awareness Group), FIGHT (Formerly Incarcerated Group Healing Together), Parisol // Pacific Rim Solidarity Network, and The Seattle Public Library.

Library events and programs are free and everyone is welcome. Registration is not required.
