Don’t miss a special reading with Seattle Black Panther co-founder Aaron Dixon at the Northwest African American Museum.

Aaron Dixon is one of the co-founders of the Seattle Black Panther chapter. On January 31, he will be discussing his book “My People Are Rising: Memoir of a Black Panther Party Captain” and covering the legacy of the Black Panthers and its relevance in today’s political climate, including imagining what Black radical imagination might look like in the 21st century and beyond. Free and open to the public. Doors open at 6 p.m.

NAAM is an ADA compliant museum that is all on ground level, and doors are ADA complaint.
