Sponsored by the Seattle Jacobin Reading Group

For our first meeting of 2019, we’re going to talk about economics! We’ll be reading the following articles:

– “The Minsky Millennium” by Mike Beggs (https://jacobinmag.com/2018/11/the-minsky-millennium) which is about work of the influential economist Hyman Minsky

– “Economics for the Socialist Autodidact” also by Mike Beggs (https://jacobinmag.com/2018/11/economics-for-the-socialist-autodidact) is an economics reading list that is a good jumping off point for a discussion about our favorite economics texts

We’ll be in the meeting room of the Fremont branch of the Seattle Public Library.
