This week we will be analyzing the roots of racism and how we can fight against it. This will also serve as an introduction to some of the topics we will be discussing in a forthcoming study group on Keeanga-Yamahtta Taylor’s new book “From #BlackLivesMatter to Black Liberation.”
- What would a “radical reconstruction” mean?
- The Clintons’ shameful hypocrisy on racism
- Our liberation is bound together
- Confronting the pro-police backlash
We will also devote some time at this meeting to planning an upcoming forum at UW and discussing our local organizing.
