In the wake of the Parkland tragedy, a new movement has developed. Led by courageous students who survived the shooting, people across the country are mobilizing to demand safety for students, changes to gun laws, and an end to the NRA’s hold on politics.

Socialists want to expand the discussion beyond guns to also examine the roles of racism, misogyny, and imperialism in the violence around us. Join us for a discussion about violence under capitalism and what we can do about it.
