Sponsored by Veterans for Peace – Seattle Chapter 92 and others

Join us as we celebrate the International Campaign to Abolish Nuclear Weapons (ICAN)! Their receipt of the Nobel Peace Prize and successful passing of the UN Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons are historic moments in the fight for a nuclear-free world. We hope you’ll join us in recognizing their achievements and continuing to build local momentum! This is sure to be a wonderful evening, with food and drinks provided, music, and great company! Doors open at 6 p.m. Program runs 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

Speakers include:
Michael Ramos, Executive Director of Church Council of Greater Seattle
Kim Nesselquist, Consul of Norway in Seattle
Stan Shikuma, with Seattle Kokon Taiko Performances by the Seattle Peace Chorus and Marcia Takamura, on the koto Sponsored by Washington Physicians for Social Responsibility, the Washington Coalition to Stop the New Nuclear Arms Race, and Sons of Norway.
Funding generously provided by the Abe Keller Peace Education Fund. Admission is free, and the event is open to the public. However, space is limited, so please RVSP through Ticket Information or http://bit.ly/2yKcHsS
