This week’s meeting will feature a discussion about Magonismo, an anti-capitalist revolutionary current that first developed during the Mexican revolution.  Ricardo Flores Magón’s concept of revolution was based on the idea that Mexican workers on both sides of the border had the potential to be the instruments of transformation through their own self-activity.  We recommend reading the article Magonismo and the Roots of Revolutionary Internationalism from the International Socialist Review to get an overview of this history.  Join us to learn more about this tradition and discuss what it can offer for our movements today.

We will also be devoting some time to a continuing discussion of our movement work in Seattle.
